$13,000 in grants across 3 clubs

Benefit Bendigo is proud to support a number of local football and soccer clubs, with grants of differing sizes….and for very different needs!

St. Therese’s Junior Football Club
Junior team members can play the game safely with new club-supplied helmets. Well done to the club for providing vital equipment that gives parents peace of mind and allows kids to play the game safely. Go Sharks!

Spring Gully United Soccer Club
With over 450 registered players, SGUSC is one of the largest regional soccer clubs in Victoria. With their Benefit Bendigo Grant the club has purchased grandstand seating to increase accessibility for community members to watch games at their home ground.

Maiden Gully Junior Football Club
Maiden Gully YCW Football/Netball Club was super excited to have been able to purchase a new deep-fryer for their canteen with a Benefit Bendigo grant. The canteen, run entirely by parent and club volunteers, is at the heart of the clubs financial and social wellbeing. An investment in their canteen is an investment in their players and the volunteers who are the backbone of their community. Aside from registration fees, which primarily covers costs to get players on the ground and playing footy, the canteen is the clubs next largest financial income stream.
